How a share gets paid for.
- 1Your $1000 deposit reserves an animal. That’s all you pay today.
- 2On harvest day the butcher weighs the carcass on the rail.
- 3We bill the balance off that real weight, before pickup — not off the estimate on this page.
Cut-and-wrap is paid to the butcher, not to us, so you will write two cheques rather than one. We’ll walk you through the cut sheet, and the share calculator will work out the pounds, the freezer room and what a pound of beef really costs you.
